Hullo,

I'm back from my trip through Italy. Wish i could stay in the holiday state of mind a little longer, just thinking of going back to the real world and everything that goes with it makes me want to sleep for a few days.
Italy was amazing, we had a few travel issues... delayed planes and trains etc, but besides that it was great. Venice was amazing, would have liked to have stayed there longer. shopping is a total must there. Though i was there at the time of the Filmfestival i didn't see any moviestars which is kinda weird since i basically walked through all of Venice (without a map and i didn't get lost!!) Any way, i have four new masks to add to my collection... still have to find places for them on my wall though.
Rome, too, was amazing. It took us a while to get used to the big city. In Venice we were able to go everywhere on foot, in Rome not so much. We tried on the first day and that gave us blisters to deal with for the rest of our stay Oo! so yeah after that we took the subway.
You would think that after so much culture, spending a week by the pool would be sufficient to replentice your energy. but no, i'm still tired and completely able to sleep for 12 hours straight. Ah well at least i got a nice tan and my friend took some amazing shots in Rome which i hope i will be able to use in some of my art. she might even put them up here on deviantart, not sure yet though cause we have only seen the pics on the small screen of the camera.

Of course i brought books on my holiday, four to be exact... didn't finish any of those... instead i bought a bunch of books in Rome I discovered the House of Night Series by P.C. and Kristin Cast. I love it, it's no great literature but great to escape into quickly. It reads fast and easy and is an absolute must read for Twilight fans.
